The Cassegrain reflector telescope, built in 1962, is used to observe various astronomical objects depending on visibility. These include planets, moons, double stars, star clusters and gas nebulae.
Each date has a different thematic focus. Before the observation, the technique of the instrument is explained in a short introduction. In case of unfavorable weather, a demonstration of the artificial starry sky takes place in the small planetarium.
