Unleashing the energy of all the world's desires and shattering the constraints of mortality with the power of this supernova—that's the plan of Prof. Dr. Suzan Derivan, from the Institute for Applied Astronomy and Futures Research. To achieve this, she must decipher the code of longing.

For her radical experiment, she gathers test subjects at her institute who have no idea why they are truly there. Guided by her eccentric but unsuspecting assistants, the subjects are confronted with their own longings through the ingestion of chemical substances, the so-called stardust, in vastly different doses.

It is the subjects' own bodies that translate their longings into movement—sometimes excessive, sometimes gentle, sometimes destructive, sometimes hopeful. Sometimes a driving force, sometimes stagnation. Dance fragments, improvisations, and choreographed sequences merge with stories and sound, becoming an interstellar entity where the possible and the impossible merge.

Professor Derivan increasingly loses control over her team and the participants; chaos erupts, and the study takes a completely unpredictable course.
