In 2017, three kindred spirits joined forces in the name of groove, setting out on a unique path beyond the well-trodden trails of Hammond organ trios.

Matti Klein Soul Trio
At the heart of their sound are the warm Wurlitzer tones of internationally renowned bandleader Matti Klein, who has graced the stages of some of the world’s most prestigious jazz clubs in New York, Tokyo, London, and Paris — both with the funk-jazz formation Mo'Blow and the Brazilian yacht-pop heavyweight Ed Motta.
The Berlin-based trio has since played well over 200 concerts worldwide, including performances at the Port-au-Prince International Jazz Festival in Haiti, Pori Jazz in Finland, and on a UK tour.
