Hyperdelia double album release concert
Hyperdelia, the Berlin-based label for experimental studio production, virtuality, and advanced sound research, presents two new releases.
Only birds know how to call the sun and they do it every morning by Kaj Duncan David & Scenatet, and Fields Become Sky by Monasunne – the duo Lara Agar and Louis d'Heudières.
Synthesized voices and a live MIDI ensemble are at the heart of Kaj Duncan David's new album with the Danish ensemble Scenatet. The pieces oscillate between intimacy and irritation, between poetic songwriting and digital experimentation – fragile, shimmering soundscapes that capture the moment of a possible transition into other worlds.
With Fields Become Sky, Monasunne presents their debut album – inspired by ancient myths and poems from East Anglia, where both grew up. Between 2020 and 2023, a collection of seven pieces was created in which self-programmed synths, violin sounds, field recordings, and autotuned vocals intertwine.
The songs explore the spaces between memory and present, identity and fiction, and create soundscapes in which lost languages and imagined lullabies become audible again.
