40th Anniversary of Dream into Action
British electro-pop pioneer and chart-topper Howard Jones will embark on a major European tour in autumn 2025, celebrating the 40th anniversary of his groundbreaking album Dream Into Action. After several successful US tours, the musician will be returning to Germany and Berlin for the first time in many years.
Originally released in 1985, Dream Into Action is considered a milestone in electronic pop music, spawning international hits such as “Things Can Only Get Better,” “No One Is to Blame,” and “Like to Get to Know You Well.” The album reached No. 2 on the UK charts and cracked the Top 10 in the U.S.
Thanks to recent appearances in pop culture—like the Netflix series Stranger Things—Jones' music is experiencing a fresh wave of popularity.
“This album was written on the road—in tour buses, in dressing rooms, everywhere. You can feel that energy in the songs,” says Jones.
Even today, he continues to wow audiences with dynamic live shows that bring together fans across generations—from longtime followers to curious Gen Z listeners.
“It means a lot to me that this music still resonates with so many people after all these years,” says the singer, who once performed alongside Stevie Wonder and Herbie Hancock at the Grammys and at the legendary Live Aid concert in 1985.
With more than 10 million albums sold worldwide, Jones remains one of the most successful British artists of the 1980s—and even at age 70, he’s still a passionate performer:
“I see myself as someone who gives people hope. We all need a little push sometimes to chase our dreams.”
