Treffen junger Autor*innen
Radio plays are a medium of imagination, of voices, sounds, and spaces—and at the same time, an artistic field that is constantly reinventing itself. This event is dedicated to radio plays as a literary genre.
In the first part, radio play artists will discuss their working methods, aesthetic choices, and the particular challenges and freedoms of the medium.
How are radio play texts created? What role does the text play in the interplay with sound, voice, and imagination? What is the significance of direction and technology?
In the second part, our ears will open: Together we will listen to selected excerpts from current radio play productions—an invitation to listen, reflect, and ask further questions.
An event for everyone who loves radio plays, would like to write one, or simply wants to prick up their ears.
