As part of the HKW takeover, 'The Possibility of Unreason', musical experimentation meets performative boundary-pushing. The concert in the Chancellery garden brings together three artists who work across pop, noise and sound-based conceptual art: Blumengarten, Tape Head and NONI.

The participating artists work with different forms of disruption and condensation, both musically and thematically, to open up spaces for new narrative and aesthetic perspectives.

The temporary venue in front of the seat of political power takes on special significance as a deliberate counterpoint to administrative rationality, with the concert referencing the productive power of deviation.

Within this field of tension, the programme signals the importance of artistic autonomy and its role in public discourse.
