During this colorful weekend of activities in the popular St. Nicholas Quarter, the St. Nicholas Church Museum offers children's outdoor games from bygone times in an old Berlin setting.

Humbling tops, stilt walking, wooden ring tossing, sack races, and hobby horse riding are just some of the games to try. A thick rope also challenges small teams to a tug-of-war contest. Perhaps this will even bring back childhood memories for older children.
The district's annual St. Nicholas Magic Festival invites families in particular to visit, with cabaret, live music, acrobatics, and historical games. In front of the museum laboratory, young and young-at-heart can try out games that children enjoyed a hundred years ago.
