Where Is Winter?
“Winter is wonderful!” says the goat. Mr. Squirrel has always slept through the winter — but this time, he’s determined to stay awake until the first snowflake falls and winter begins!
Yet, winter is taking its time, and Mr. Squirrel starts to wonder: “What if the first snowflake has already fallen without us noticing? What if it’s lying somewhere, and winter has already begun?” And so begins an exciting search for winter.
A story about friendship, and about how our own ideas and dreams can connect — or clash — with those of others. It’s also a tale about seeking and finding. Mr. Squirrel, the hedgehog, and the bear are all looking for the same thing — yet each finds something different. And just when they’ve run out of answers, the first snow begins to fall. They didn’t have to search for it after all — it simply came to them. They just had to stay awake.
