An immersive evening of inspiring stories, flavours, and conversations

What if people could shape the future of food themselves? Around the world, individuals are demonstrating how this can be achieved. In this event, they will discuss their innovative solutions with you.

The international debate on the future of food is dominated by politicians, corporations, and scientific institutions. Implementing meaningful changes in the complex global food systems seems almost impossible. Yet, at the grassroots level, innovative solutions are emerging for addressing food insecurity and climate challenges.

In this panel discussion, participants from Nigeria, the Philippines, Brazil, and Germany will share how they have made progress with their local communities toward a stronger and more sustainable food future. Through discussion, photo essays, and tastings of local foods, you will experience these innovations firsthand. Come join us and help shape the future of food!

A joint event with the Humboldt Residency Programme. The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation is a shareholder of Futurium.
