Zappel the rabbit lives with his brother Zottel in a magical forest full of crazy animals and plants. He is called Zappelhase because he loves to move so much. Zappel dances, jumps, and wriggles along with his brother Zottel.

Everything would be quite carefree if one day a sinister hawk hadn't swooped through the forest. When Zottel suddenly disappears, Zappel frantically seeks protection and help from the children.
With their support, he finally dares to embark on the adventurous journey to rescue his brother. Not least through the use of language, sound, and movement.
