Christoph Kühl (1960)
Studied free painting with Prof. Karl Oppermann at HdK Berlin. His works consist almost exclusively of collages, created from painted paper using various techniques. In addition, he incorporates black-and-white copies from magazines and newspapers or weathered advertising. Viewers are taken on a journey through three-dimensional spaces. Kühl’s pictures are projection surfaces of these striking sites, where found image fragments are assembled to convey new impressions.
