Occupy Houseclub!
Occupy Houseclub! is a weekly event aimed at anyone looking for a community for creative experimentation and interested in performing on stage outside of school – where they participate in Houseclub productions.
This Houseclub Open Stage Community consists of everyday experts between 16 and 26 who experiment and don't want to be tied down: they play, dance, film, perform, and create to their heart's content.
In their new performance "Everything is Fine," the Occupy Houseclub community asks:
- How do people face a future that seems to be slipping away from them?
- How can they bring the urgency of the present to the stage?
Through voices, bodies, and perspectives, they are setting a precedent – for all those who want to carry on, keep fighting, and refuse to be overwhelmed by world events.
