Elke Brauweiler chants

Electropop icon Elke Brauweiler dedicates her new program to her great love: French chansons. But this time, she presents the classics not as electronic reinterpretations, but in finely crafted, acoustic, and jazzy variations.

Following her electropop album "Twist à Saint-Tropez," an homage to the nostalgic chansons of the 1950s and 60s by Brigitte Bardot, Françoise Hardy, and France Gall, Brauweiler, together with guitarist Boris Meinhold and pianist Oliver Benn, has developed a new, intimate concert format.

On January 30, she will bring this special program to the warm, cozy winter atmosphere of the Brotfabrik.

With her powerful yet light and captivating stage presence, Brauweiler masterfully explores themes such as love, politics, and interpersonal relationships with charm, depth, and elegance. Her artistic expressiveness brings the French flair, melancholy, and timeless beauty of the chansons vividly to life on stage.

An evening full of warmth, style, and subtle brilliance – perfect for a January concert at the Brotfabrik.
