EISLER SAXOPHONQUARTETT

To mark the closing of Bianka Wilkens' exhibition ‘Auf Spuren-Suche’ (Searching for Traces), they have invited scholarship holders from the YEHUDI MENUHIN Live Music Now Berlin e. V. association.


The Eisler Saxophone Quartet, consisting of the talented young musicians Christine Petersen (Germany), Sara Ferreira Pais (Portugal), Diego Parra Marbán (Spain) and Jaewon Yu (South Korea),
will perform for you.


The YEHUDI MENUHIN Live Music Now Berlin e. V. association has been supporting young musicians for many years, helping them to find performance opportunities and launch their careers as professional musicians. The hospital church has been working closely with this wonderful institution for many years.

So come along and enjoy an unforgettable evening of music!

About the musicians:

Christine Petersen, born in Flensburg in 2001, studied saxophone in Cologne and Berlin. She has won prizes at Jugend musiziert and the Lübeck Saxophone Competition and has performed with orchestras in Germany and abroad.

Sara Ferreira Pais, born in Portugal in 2000, studies saxophone at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin. She already has a bachelor's degree from Porto and has participated in numerous competitions and concerts, including at the Konzerthaus and the Berlin Philharmonic.

Diego Parra Marbán, born in Spain in 2000, studies saxophone at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin and the University of Valladolid. He has won prizes for chamber music and has performed as a soloist in Oviedo and Gijón.

Jaewon Yu, born in Seoul in 2000, began playing the saxophone at the age of 13 and studied at the Korea National University of Arts. He has won several competitions and is continuing his studies at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin.
