Over four weekends, the stage will pulse with music from across the globe: from the raw energy of Mexican Cumbia-punk to the hypnotic groove of Kenyan Dodo Blues, from the electrifying syncopations of Congolese Soukous to the powerful messages of Afro-futuristic big bands. Caribbean-infused Japanese folk, soulful jazz, hip hop, and the joy and resilience of Frafra-gospel round off  this celebration of sound— borderless, multi-perspective, and irresistably danceable!

DJ Radio Hobo (Venezuela, Berlin)

Radio Hobo is a Berlin-based DJ and graphic designer who infuses his Caribbean heritage into everything he does. As the curator and founder of radio shows like Troptopia on Cashmere Radio and the rare groove show RRYTM on THF Radio, he has been shaping unique musical landscapes for over a decade.

Known for his all-vinyl sets packed with tropical sounds from the ’60s to the ’80s, Radio Hobo has taken his deep crates from London to Rotterdam, Cape Verde to Mali, and beyond. He has played for renowned radio stations worldwide, including Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide FM, Kiosk Radio, Soho Radio London, and Year Zero Istanbul.

In Berlin, his grooves have ignited dance floors at Anima, Bar Tausend, Monarch, Schokoladen, Acud and Humboldt Forum. Wherever Radio Hobo takes the decks, one thing is certain: Tropical Heat!
