Out and about with Futurium at the Tegel Waterworks
Turn on the tap, the water is flowing. Of course! But why is that? What's going on behind the scenes? For two days, interested parties will get to the bottom of the matter – at Berlin's largest waterworks in Tegel. The event is aimed primarily at school classes and groups.
The water experts will tell you what's needed to ensure you have clean, tasty water at all times, and what challenges must be overcome.
And, of course, they'll also pose questions about the future: Why is water being discussed more and more in politics and the media? How do people manage to adapt to climate change? And what else do Berliners need to know to be prepared for the future?
Program
You can combine the program items into an exciting rally. There's even a prize at the end.
-> Tour of the Waterworks
-> Activities and booths: Mini-talks at the water mobile, tastings of raw water, tap water, and bottled water, analyzing and filtering water, mini-workshops on shaping the future
-> Picnic area
