Music of the GOLDEN 20s
Everyone thinks primarily of glamour, frivolous parties and the champagne flowing freely... Yes, that was the 20s, but not only. In addition to common and well-known songs, the BERLINER VOCAPHONIKER also offer lesser-known couples and cabaret songs with funny, ironic and sometimes biting lyrics. The most famous German jazz band of that time, the “Weintraubs Syncopators,” is also quoted. Particularly worth mentioning is the ensemble’s unique instrumentation.
