Reading with Florentine Anders
Author Florentine Anders tells an exciting story about her charismatic grandfather, the GDR architect Hermann Henselmann. At the same time, she describes the extended family, especially two women - Isi and Isa - and their emancipation from their overbearing husband and father. The novel also paints a broad picture of architectural and contemporary history in divided Berlin.
