Iran is currently experiencing extreme violence, loss, and a silence enforced by the internet shutdown. The numbers are unclear, but the scale of death, imprisonment, and fear is undeniable. For those in Iran—and those watching from exile—the nervous system is under constant attack.

Grounding / دل به دل

Many are exhausted, overwhelmed, angry, and sad. This is not a weakness. It is the price of remaining aware of reality.

It is a place of grounding—a temporary retreat where the body can release overload, step out of fight-or-freeze mode, and regain enough stability to carry on.

Through sound, breath, and silence, they enable:

  • the nervous system to calm down
  • grief to exist without being under pressure
  • anger to transform into clarity instead of numbness

Grounding does not mean giving up. A regulated body is a form of resistance.

This space is for Iranians and non-Iranians who are affected, who are witnesses, and who bear this burden—and who need a moment to recover.

Join us for this solidarity event.
