Who cares when we’re gone?
Climate change cannot be ignored: Drought, heavy rain, storms, and heat waves are becoming the rule rather than the exception. Yet, the topic of climate and sustainability appears to be losing political and social importance. Why is this? Why doesn't increased knowledge automatically lead to increased action?
Together, all interested parties will take a closer look at the social and political dynamics in dealing with climate change:
What role do language, emotions, and the structures of the political system play in this? Does the way politicians and the media talk about climate change influence society's willingness to change? What role does science play in the polarization of some debates?
Experts will contribute their diverse perspectives from science, politics, and the media – and you are also invited to join the discussion!
