The Botanic Garden is one of the largest in the world in terms of area. The diversity of its 20,000 plant species also ranks it among the most important gardens. The aim of opening up a scientific living collection to visitors was realised here in Dahlem at the beginning of the 20th century and is still relevant today.
Garden entrances & opening hours
- The entrance at Königin-Luise-Platz is currently open from 9 am - 7 pm (from 6:30 pm only via flapgates with online ticket or annual pass)
- Exit Königin-Luise-Platz until 8 pm
- The entrance and exit on the Unter den Eichen side is open from 9 am - 6.30 p.m.
Additional information
Access to the outdoor area is restricted until 20 June 2024. Reduced admission prices apply until then.
