It was actually supposed to be a really nice romantic evening. The musician is already there. But for the Duchess and the Baron, the psychopolitics of neoliberalism keep getting in the way.

Their conversations then take strange paths between then and now. Am I a romantic self or a postmodern project? And they no longer know exactly which reality they are in. In film dramaturgy, the point where nothing more works for the team of heroes is called "The Night of the Soul".
That also seems to apply to the current state of the world. But they are not giving up. After all, they have prepared something especially for the audience, e.g. a hand-held fog machine, a prepared piano, singing, sound and of course acting.
In short: They throw the shards into the night sky and let them shine. And that is romantic!
