Openair cinema
On this midsummer June weekend around the time of the summer solstice, we present you two films that explore the interplay of power, dominance, submission, and gender stereotypes.
A successful managing director and her new intern are drawn to each other by force of nature. An intense game of dominance and submission, power and powerlessness begins. A much more mature (and better) answer to "Fifty Shades of Grey" – exciting, sexy, and surprisingly rich in black humor.
With this erotic psychological thriller, Dutch director Halina Reijn once again directs an intense film about social taboos, power games, and loss of control, which dispels old behavioral patterns and rules.
In the title role, Nicole Kidman once again demonstrates her exceptional acting skills. Alongside her are Antonio Banderas as her husband Jacob and Harris Dickinson (known from "Triangle of Sadness") as the outrageously confident intern Samuel.
