André Herzberg, founding member and frontman of the legendary East German rock band PANKOW, presents his book “Keine Stars – mein Leben mit PANKOW” (No Stars – My Life with PANKOW) in a musical reading.

In personal recollections, he recounts his decades-long passion for music, friendship and conflict, farewells and new beginnings.

Accompanied by music, Herzberg recounts the eventful history of the band, which became one of the most outstanding phenomena of the East German music scene with provocative lyrics and a sound somewhere between the Rolling Stones and New Wave – and the difficulties that came with it: state restrictions, internal crises within the band, and finally a new beginning after the fall of the Berlin Wall.

The reading offers an exclusive insight into Herzberg's artistic life, complementing PANKOW's big farewell tour “Bis zuletzt” (Until the End) in 2025.

This is an opportunity to experience the musician and author in person, away from the big stage.
