City walk
The cinema library is moving and taking its audience with it. A program on the occasion of the move to the E-Werk: Berlin's center is a walk-in attraction. From the pleasure palaces of the Weimar era to the techno temples after the fall of the Wall.
History was written here, and a wide variety of people still meet here to enjoy the lively nightlife.
The walk leads along the district border and the former Berlin Wall from Potsdamer Platz via Checkpoint Charlie to the gates of the future location of the cinema library, the E-Werk. The participants follow in the footsteps of Emil and the detectives or James Bond and discover the perfect filming locations for gangster and spy series such as “4 Blocks” and “Berlin Station”.
A city walk with Jörg Becker, film historian and author.
