The band Apfeltraum is celebrating 10 years of moving concerts. On Thursday, 16 October 2025, the band invites you to the Maschinenhaus at Berlin's Kulturbrauerei at 8 p.m. to honour the artistic legacy of Peter ‘Cäsar’ Gläser and the bands Renft, Karussell and Cäsars Rockband.

Apfeltraum plays Cäsar's songs and manages to bring his unique musical signature to the stage with rousing authenticity.
The band consists of Cäsar's son Robert Gläser, former Knorkator drummer Christian ‘Chrischy’ Gerlach, guitarists Hannes Funke and Jakob Deider, and charismatic blues shouter Big Joe Stolle. Together, they present not only Cäsar's well-known hits, but also profound arrangements that delight fans of old and new generations alike.

‘Apfeltraum’ stands for concerts that stir emotions – without superfluous excesses, but with clear, to-the-point interpretations that emphasise the timelessness of Cäsar's works.

Robert Gläser – bassist, singer, composer and producer – is not only the artistic director of Apfeltraum, but also a colourful figure on the German music scene. During his impressive career, he has worked with artists such as Dirk Zöllner, Angelo Kelly and Thomas Anders. With projects such as SIX and the band Sonnenbrand & Hubschrauber, he has had a significant influence on the German rock scene. More information about Robert Gläser: www.robertglaeser.de.

Big Joe Stolle, a true legend of the Berlin music scene, brings more than 30 years of stage experience to the table. Whether swing, blues or rock “n” roll – his powerful voice and stage presence make every concert an experience.

Hannes Funke, the guitarist with heart and soul, has been an integral part of the Berlin music scene since the 1990s. With his passion for music, he has made a name for himself in various band projects such as ‘Sonnenbrand & Hubschrauber’ and ‘Boys “R” Us’.

Christian ‘Chrischy’ Gerlach, a drummer who has already performed on stage with Knorkator and Martin Kesici, plays the drums with a precision and passion that makes every concert a thrilling experience.

Jakob Deider – the youngest guitarist in the band – impresses with his many years of stage experience and virtuoso playing. With influences from blues and rock, he inspires both as a songwriter and as a guitar guru.
