Charlottchen
A theatre and restaurant near the Kurfürstendamm
The Charlottchen was named after the Charlottenburg district of Berlin. Since 1990 it has distinguished itself by offering a colourful range of events for children, magic, clowns, and traditional puppet theatre. However, it's not only the programme for children that makes it special. The restaurant itself is also well worth a visit. Here, an additional children's menu is available for younger guests. The Charlottchen offers a family breakfast from 10am-1pm at weekends and on public holidays. The buffet costs €8,50 for adults and €4 for children aged 4-12.
Extra playroom
And if the kids finish eating early and are fidgeting irritably on their chairs, then the restaurant offers a solution! They can leave the table early and let off steam in the children's playroom, which has a climbing frame, a slide, toys, and painting equipment. Meanwhile, their parents can continue to enjoy the delicious, well-priced food in peace. After an evening meal or breakfast, a walk over the nearby Kurfürstendamm, Berlin's legendary shopping street and promenade, is highly recommended.
