Berlin has many green spaces—Mauerpark is one of them. In this workshop, young and old alike will have fun discovering different tree species and their importance for the urban climate. Together, we’ll marvel at all the things trees do: they cool the air, purify it, provide habitats, and supply food. Through scavenger hunts, games, and simple measurements, families will experience the park in a whole new way. Participants will learn to identify native trees, understand their importance, and discover how they can help protect the city’s trees.
