Permanent exhibition in the Museum Lichtenberg

The permanent exhibition tells the story of how Lichtenberg became what it is today and what makes it so special.

The focus is on the themes of Work – Life – Change, which can be experienced in four exhibition rooms.

The WAS room tells stories from the district’s past and present. WO showcases the diversity of its neighborhoods. WER revolves around people and is open to new ideas. WOW showcases surprising aspects of Lichtenberg.

The new concept actively breaks down barriers. Architecturally, in terms of design, and in terms of content, the permanent exhibition lays the foundation for a greater opening of the museum into the urban space. As a place for inspiration, the Museum Lichtenberg is a forum for topics that concern people in the district and beyond—a space for you, your interests, and your ideas.
