Special tour
The tour of the palace and Remise is dedicated to the most popular woman in Prussian history: Queen Louise! In 1815, after the devastating defeat at Waterloo, Napoleon Bonaparte fled through the mud - losing both his sword and his hat in the process.

This event would have delighted Queen Luise of Prussia in particular, as it marked the final end of his reign. A replica of this historic hat is on display in the presentation "Monster meets parrot".
