The Neue Berliner Kunstverein (n.b.k.) and Künstlerhaus Bethanien jointly present works by artists who received the Berlin Senate's 2025 Visual Arts Working Grant.
The exhibition is being held simultaneously at both venues and brings together international artistic positions from artists living and working in Berlin. It underscores once again the crucial role that reliable funding structures play in the production and dissemination of contemporary art.
The works on display are united by an engagement with social, political, and historical issues, as well as a critical reflection on power relations, norms, and ideologies. At the same time, they encompass a broad spectrum of aesthetic expression.
