Future Tools Series
In this Open Lab evening, "Future Tools," participants will explore the dream tool of every maker – the laser cutter. From quickly developing and precisely implementing individual designs in a wide variety of materials, to cutting simple patterns, engraving detailed graphics in wood, or building complex three-dimensional objects, anything is possible.
Are you curious and want to know what the laser cutter can do for you? Then come along and learn about the tool and the basics of laser cutting with your own small project: preparing designs for the laser cutter, cutting, engraving, and selecting materials.
The laser cutter and materials for experimentation can be used on-site free of charge. Bringing your own laptop is advantageous for developing your own cutting patterns. Dropping in spontaneously? No worries, we have laptops available.
