BAER ARCHITECTURE AND URBAN DESIGN
On the occasion of Berlin Art Week, BAER Architecture and Urban Design is presenting the video installation Liquid Matrix at The Ballery. The work creates an imaginary space inspired by the four cardinal directions and the Kabbalistic "Book of Creation."

From language, numbers, and stories, an architectural vision emerges that replaces control with openness and translates complex systems into poetic forms.
The installation simultaneously addresses the four Platonic elements of fire, water, earth, and air – and, in the age of the Anthropocene, contrasts their destructive and creative forces: fire as energy, water as the source of life, earth as the basis of ecological stability, and air as the bearer of spirit and idealism.
Thus, Liquid Matrix invites visitors to understand architecture as a space of consciousness – as a bridge between nature, culture, and imagination. A first version of the project was already on display at the Venice Biennale in 2021.
