Workshop for primary school children
Are artists allowed to do whatever they want? Is a painted sculpture a sculpture or a painting? Who is remembered and who isn't? In the children's salon, accompanying the exhibition "BERLIN. COSMOPOLITE," you will explore these and many other questions about art and create your own works of art.
The occasion is the ongoing exhibition "BERLIN. COSMOPOLITE," which tells the story of the collector couple Felicie and Carl Bernstein. Felicie organized a salon every Wednesday at her home, where interesting works of art were discussed. Max Liebermann was also a popular guest at the salon.
Today, hardly anyone knows them anymore. Why is that? In this children's salon, we will discuss who is remembered and who isn't. Think about what is important to you and create a little booklet for your memories so you won't forget this day.
