There's a lot going on in Berlin on Mother's Day weekend. We've picked out the highlights for you. And maybe you'll not only invite your mum, but also book a place for dad. That way, he can look forward to an early Father's Day present.

How about a boat trip on the Spree and Landwehr Canal. The tour departs at 11am from the Schlossbrücke in Charlottenburg or at 11.45am from the Reichstagsufer. During the sightseeing tour, you can of course also enjoy a delicious meal and, if the weather is nice, a cool drink in the sun on the deck. And what could be better than having brunch in fine weather while cruising through the government district? Alternatively, you can of course also enjoy a brunch at the Freischwimmer directly on the water brunch or end your Mother's Day outing with coffee and cake on the restaurant boat .

Mother's Day also offers plenty of cultural events: The philharmonic salon takes you into the world of romance on Mother's Day. If your mum likes rock music, why not surprise her with a ticket for The Classic Tales of Yes Tour

If the weather plays along, you can of course also invite your mum to a picnic in the countryside, for example in the Britzer Garten or in the Schlossgarten Charlottenburg.
