Berlin's unique diversity of museums - 75 museums included
75 museums. 750 events. 1 ticket. The Long Night of Museums is one of Berlin’s best-known events. Visitors from around the world can gain an insight into the museum landscape of Germany’s capital. This year, 75 museums invite you to take a nocturnal tour of art, history, architecture, science and technology under the slogan "Sounds of Berlin". The festival includes many international hotspots such as Neues Museum, Gropius Bau, Pergamon Museum and Museum für Naturkunde and numerous special museums such as the Samurai Museum Berlin, Bauhaus Archive / Museum für Gestaltung or the Urban Nation Museum. The museums will open their doors to the public from 6 pm to 2 am, letting you in to their collections, exhibitions, guided tours and special events.
750 events in Berlin to discover and experience
The Long Night of the Museums is the highlight during the summer months, when the Berlin Museums invite you to concerts, discovery tours behind the scenes, exclusive guided tours, entertaining workshops and after work events. Sound installations, DJ sets, live concerts, machine noises, radio messages from the Cold War, barrel organs from Prenzlauer Berg, songs by Brecht and Eisler or melodies of the nightingale: the most diverse sounds of the city mingle in this Berlin summer night. Take a journey of discovery through Berlin's museums and listen to the Sounds of Berlin.
Experience the Sounds of Berlin
If you like, you can learn your first tango steps, build your own instrument or party until well after midnight to the beats of the metropolis. The centre at Lustgarten will also be vibrating that night: The Kultursommerfestival transforms the area with a wandering orchestra, a drumming session with the audience and dance-sound performances into a place to listen, watch and participate.
The tickets are valid from 6 p.m. for admission to all participating museums and for the shuttle bus lines that take you comfortably from museum to museum. In addition, upon presentation of your ticket on 26.8.2023 at the Jelbi pop-ups of the Long Night of Museums, you will receive a Jelbi voucher worth 10€.
