Carmel Zoum, Don Tox & N.R.G. Vibes (live band)

Marcus N.R.G. Vibes stands for New European Latin Reggae straight out of Berlin's Kreuzberg district – produced at Atahsound Studio in Görlitzer Park. With a clear global vision, the project combines international riddim and vocal productions into a powerful, contemporary sound.

In December 2025, Marcus N.R.G. Vibes will set new trends in the European reggae, Latin and urban scene: energetic, creative and cross-genre.

Behind the project is German-Peruvian musician Markus Remmler, frontman and creative key figure, who has created a unique musical universe with N.R.G. Vibes. Influenced by an international line-up, multilingual lyrics and cultural diversity, the music transcends boundaries and makes global connectedness audible.

The band name N.R.G. Vibes is deliberately ambiguous: it stands for New Reggae Generation and for the rousing energy reflected in the music, live performances and interaction with the audience. Markus Remmler, born in Schwäbisch Gmünd in 1977, grew up in Peru and later lived in Spain, which had a strong influence on his cultural and musical perspective. He learned to play the piano, organ and guitar at an early age and combined his musical roots with cultural diversity.

Musically, Marcus moves between reggae, Latin, dancehall, hip hop and Latin reggae, a style he himself describes as new European Latin reggae – a dynamic fusion of Caribbean rhythms, Latin American grooves and European influences with German, Spanish and English lyrics.
The band and its projects are characterised by international collaborations: musicians from Colombia, Cuba, Gambia, Puerto Rico, Suriname, Germany, Cape Verde, Argentina, Italy, Ghana and more contribute to a globally networked sound.

Since N.R.G. Vibes was founded in 1996, Marcus has played numerous concerts with the band in Germany, Spain and worldwide. The band has been featured on radio and TV several times, toured Europe and performed at festivals and special events, including engagements outside Europe. In addition to energetic club gigs, the live shows impress with their rousing performances and audience interaction.
