Looking back on 30 years of young world

The film looks back and forward: at traditions, ruptures, and reinventions. It tells the story of the struggle for survival in the years following German reunification, of the unique role of the newspaper junge Welt as a national Marxist daily, its place within the left-wing movement – and of repression, resistance, and visions for the future. A portrait of the newspaper, the last 30 years of its history, and the people who make it.
