Winter holiday workshop
Imagine: Colorful pictures transform an entire room – and the room becomes your own personal stage! That's exactly what we'll do together!
In this workshop, you'll transform the forest room at the Brücke Museum with poetry, theater, music, and movement. You'll playfully learn how small ideas can become grand works of art.
What you'll do: Cut and paste colorful collages from magazines and pictures; paint and draw with ink and paints; invent exciting stories you're eager to share; move through the museum and let your imagination run wild. Step by step, the room will be transformed by your art!
Your inspiration: The artist Karl Schmidt-Rottluff will show you how to create freely with colors and shapes. And from Emilio Vedova and the composer Luigi Nono, you'll learn how music and enormous paintings can bring a stage to life.
Try it out and transform pictures into a magical space!
The holiday course will be held simultaneously in German and English – you can choose which language you'd like to speak!
The winter holiday workshop is organized in cooperation between Jugend im Museum e. V., Kunsthaus Dahlem, and the Brücke Museum.
