Jessica Kandeler and The Mega Nice Band

At the center of it all is singer Jessica Kandeler, who has been a fixture in the Berlin music scene for many years. Her musical career has taken her through a wide variety of genres and projects. With The Mega Nice Band, she consciously seeks to explore new avenues and make a musical statement – for joie de vivre, community, and positive energy. Her voice combines warmth, expressiveness, and presence, effortlessly carrying the songs through diverse stylistic worlds.

The pieces are as colorful as life itself: from swinging passages and soulful grooves to reggae and ska influences, they create a sound that is captivating without being intrusive. The arrangements are rich in detail, vibrant, and inviting interaction – perfect for snapping your fingers, tapping your feet, or simply enjoying the music. In February 2024, the band worked on their debut album at Planet Earth Studio in Berlin, which was released in July 2024 under the title "Lebensfreude" (Joy of Life). The album title says it all: The music radiates optimism, warmth, and a love of playing, inviting you to leave everyday life behind for a moment.
