Raül Refree - Barcelona-based musician, composer, and producer Raül Refree (b. 1976) is a leading figure in contemporary Spanish music, widely recognised for his role in the so-called “new flamenco” movement and for a practice that moves fluidly between song, tradition, and experimental sound.

Across a substantial catalogue of solo releases, film soundtracks, and genre-defying collaborations, his work is defined by an approach that prioritises intimacy, risk, and artistic coherence.A key project in his catalogue is Los Ángeles, the duo album created with Rosalía.

Conceived as a radically stripped-down recording, the album had a significant impact on contemporary understandings of flamenco through its austerity and emotional intensity, while standing as one expression of Refree’s long-term engagement with reimagining traditional forms.Refree has collaborated with artists including Guitarricadelafuente, Niño de Elche, Rodrigo Cuevas, Kiko Veneno, Amaia, Silvia Pérez Cruz, Lina, and Lee Ranaldo. Alongside his production work, his solo practice centres on acoustic and electric guitar explorations, expanded through sampled field recordings, haunted voices, and hushed electronics, often presented in immersive live performances.

Francisco Riffo
Francisco Riffo is a composer and sound artist from the southern city of Puerto Montt, Chile. His works are based on the use of computers, particularly Max/MSP and Ableton Live, to create works and algorithms based on repetition and defined structures, using only one or two synthesizers that are intuitively altered in time. These interactions create rhythmically rich music that resembles dance music that can also be contemplated while sitting down.
