In the semester project "Telling Stories with Light," students from the University of the Arts, working in close collaboration with the Gemäldegalerie (Picture Gallery) and the Kupferstichkabinett (Museum of Prints and Drawings), explored selected works from both collections in the Drawing Lab.
By examining the use and significance of light in painting, drawing, and printmaking, light became a filter for perception and a source of inspiration for their own narrative structures.
The presentation of the works in the foyer of the Kulturforum will take place in the presence of the students.
Featuring works by: Ben Ballerstädt, Dilan Buyan, Lina Grübel, Lea Holická, Karima Sahidy, Katharina Saurer, Sara Shahabiziabari, Mako Yoshida
The project was led by Kerstin Hille and Johanna Tiedtke.
