with Stefan Maria Rother
Helga Goetze's words, imagery, and interactions were meant to spark curiosity, shock, delight, and provoke thought—and, at the same time, ensure that people remember her.
The special exhibition "A Female Being, Intellectually Versatile, Seeks – Helga Goetze" showcases artistic and written works, such as embroidery and poems, that Helga left behind among her friends and family.
Accompanying "Storytelling Salons" bring these mementos to life and engage in dialogue with those close to Helga. Friends and family members share their experiences of meeting her and the impact she had on them.
The Salon takes place alongside the exhibition "A Female Being, Intellectually Versatile, Seeks – Helga Goetze."
