For those who want to celebrate 31 December in style, Lutter & Wegner's Christmas hut on Gendarmenmarkt offers a festive menu in a winter wonderland.

At the traditional Lutter & Wegner, guests can expect an exclusive four-course menu that combines classic elegance with seasonal sophistication.

After a welcome drink of the house Lutter & Wegner sparkling wine – ‘the sparkling wine that gave sparkling wine its name’ – a selection of fine starters opens the evening, including a duet of scallops and salmon trout, pork knuckle praline or an aromatic pea mousseline. Guests can choose between a silky pumpkin soup or a clear pheasant consommé with truffle tortellini, before turbot on creamy risotto, tender venison loin or an elegant pumpkin Wellington mark the main course. A modern interpretation of apple strudel provides a harmonious finale. Menu price: £119 (excluding drinks).
