Film & Talk #2030 – Staffel 16

ONE TO ONE: JOHN & YOKO by Oscar winner Kevin Macdonald brings the life of John Lennon and Yoko Ono to the cinema for the first time in the Greenwich Village of the early 1970s: their love, their political commitment and the legendary only concert of the two in fantastic, restored recordings.

The One to One Concert in New York is an exuberant, dazzling performance, the stunning music was remixed and produced by their son, Sean Ono Lennon. The result is a great cinema experience!

In discussions with experts from culture and science, music is discussed as a form of protest and resistance.
