Kamishibai Ambulant – Stories of Shadow and Light

The workshop is bilingual (Spanish/German) and promotes creativity and multilingualism.


In collaboration with the Wolfdietrich Schnurre Library, a new format has been created: a workshop for children in which shadow theatre and kamishibai come together.

Using light, cardboard and paper, each child designs their own luminous frame – a small space in which shadows become figures and stories come to life. The meeting takes place in Spanish and German and creates a natural, playful space in which both languages are connected through imagination – a multilingual scene full of creativity.

At the end, all the works created are shared in a large joint kamishibai, in which each story becomes part of a single narrative made of shadows.
