Objects from the Nuremberg School Museum

In his lecture, Mathias Rösch presents various objects from the School Museum's collection that reflect the period of National Socialism in the everyday lives of children and young people after 1945.

These children's books, exercise books, pieces of furniture, but also cuddly toys and letters that young people secretly sent to each other in class are linked to a variety of questions:

What experiences with National Socialism, especially in one's own family, become visible here? What attitudes and imprints are recognizable? Does this perhaps also reveal change and development? And how does the museum use these objects today in exhibitions or educational work?
