The ‘Breakfast Directors' Ball’ is probably the most self-deprecating ball in political Berlin – a mixture of satire, style and networking opportunities – a night for friends of sophisticated networking, subtle irony and discreet appearances.

Originally, communications and public affairs professionals simply met for breakfast after the turn of the millennium. This gave rise to the circle of ‘breakfast directors’ – and soon after, the ball.
For over a decade, people have been dancing, discussing and laughing.
This year, we are dancing in aid of Zweitzeugen e.V. (https://www.zweitzeugen.de/) – an initiative that keeps the stories of Holocaust survivors alive so that memory has a future.
The proceeds from the charity ball will go to the initiative ZWEITZEUGEN e.V.: Shaping a culture of remembrance. Taking responsibility.

ZWEITZEUGEN e.V. encourages and empowers (young) people to become second witnesses themselves by passing on the stories of Holocaust survivors and to take a stand against anti-Semitism and discrimination today.
