One of the major festivals at the Bauhaus was the Lantern Festival – from 1920 onwards, it was one of the highlights of Bauhaus life. With the approaching dark season in mind, we invite you to create colorful lanterns.
Participants can be inspired by the architecture of the future transparent entrance building of the new building on the Landwehr Canal and the historic Bauhaus Festival, experiment with colors, shapes, and light, and build festive lanterns.
Feel free to drop by the Temporary Bauhaus Archive and see if any workshop spots are available. However, please don't be disappointed if all spots are taken.
